Daniel Lanois

Daniel Lanois is a Canadian record producer, songwriter and musician from Hull, Quebec, who began his career in the late 1970s and works across rock, folk and ambient genres. His production and solo work emphasise atmospheric textures, spacious reverb and layered instrumentation, bridging roots music and experimental studio techniques and contributing to the sound of numerous rock and ambient recordings.
