Orchestre de la Garde républicaine

L'Orchestre de la Garde républicaine is a French military ensemble formed within the Republican Guard in Paris in the 19th century, serving as the ceremonial and concert band of the national gendarmerie. Its repertoire spans military marches and ceremonial music as well as orchestral and chamber works, and over time the ensemble broadened its activities to include public concerts, international engagements and collaborations that reflect the intersection of military tradition and civic musical life.
