Greg Osby

Greg Osby is an American jazz saxophonist and composer from St Louis, Missouri, who began his professional career in the early 1980s and became associated with the M-Base movement, working primarily in modern jazz, post-bop and avant-garde styles. His music blends complex rhythmic frameworks, extended harmonies and elements of electronic production, evolving from post-bop foundations into explorations of contemporary jazz, avant-garde and fusion textures.
