Frank Lowe

Frank Lowe was an American jazz saxophonist from Memphis, Tennessee, who began his career in the 1960s and became associated with the free jazz and avant-garde jazz scenes in New York. His playing combined intense, exploratory improvisation on tenor saxophone with ventures into more composed structures across several decades, reflecting the experimental and politically engaged currents of 1970s and 1980s jazz.
