The Dears

The Dears are a Canadian indie rock band formed in Montreal in the mid-1990s. Their music draws on orchestral arrangements, baroque pop, post-punk and shoegaze influences and has developed from lo-fi indie roots into larger-scale songs that use strings and horns and address urban and personal themes.
