Bobby Jaspar
Bobby Jaspar was a Belgian jazz saxophonist and flautist born in Liège in 1926 who began his professional career in the late 1940s, working in the European jazz scene before relocating to Paris and later New York. He developed a lyrical, hard bop-influenced style that incorporated cool jazz elements and contributed to transatlantic exchanges between European and American jazz scenes until his death in 1963.
