Bogusław Schaeffer

Bogusław Schaeffer was a Polish composer and musicologist born in Lwów in 1929 who began his career in the post-war period and worked primarily in contemporary classical, avant-garde and electronic music. His work embraced experimental techniques including graphic notation, musique concrète and early electronic methods, and he also wrote theatre music and numerous publications on contemporary music.
