Mörbisch Festival Orchestra

The Mörbisch Festival Orchestra is the resident orchestra of the Seefestspiele Mörbisch, the open-air operetta festival founded in 1957 in Mörbisch am See, Austria, and is principally associated with operetta and related operatic and musical-theatre repertoire. It specialises in providing orchestral accompaniment for large-scale lake-stage productions, working within the arrangements and orchestration traditions of Central European operetta and supporting the festival's role in sustaining that repertory within Austrian cultural life.
