Léon Barzin
Léon Barzin was a Belgian-born conductor and teacher who began his career in the early 20th century and later established his professional life in the United States within the classical music tradition. He concentrated on orchestral training and ensemble technique, directing and founding orchestral training organisations and institutions that contributed to the development of American orchestral pedagogy.
