Alan Fletcher

Alan Fletcher was a British graphic designer born in Kenya in 1931 who began his career in the 1950s and later co-founded the design consultancy Pentagram, working primarily in graphic design and visual communication. His work employed playful, experimental approaches to typography, illustration and logo design, evolving from commercial print and corporate identity projects to books and exhibition graphics that contributed to late 20th-century British graphic design practice.
