James Brandon Lewis

James Brandon Lewis is an American saxophonist and composer who began releasing work in the 2000s and performs primarily within jazz and improvised music traditions. His music blends free and spiritual jazz with elements of blues, gospel and contemporary composition, alternating between written frameworks and extended collective improvisation while engaging with social and cultural themes in modern American jazz.
