Skúli Sverrisson is an Icelandic bassist and composer who began his career in Reykjavík in the late 1980s before relocating to New York and working across jazz, ambient and experimental music. His work blends jazz-informed improvisation with ambient textures, contemporary classical arrangements and electronic processing, evolving from small-group performances to composition and production for film and theatre and contributing to cross-genre collaborations within the Icelandic and international experimental scenes.
