?uestlove is an American drummer, DJ and record producer from Philadelphia who began his career in the late 1980s and is primarily associated with hip hop, neo-soul and jazz-influenced music. His musical work combines live rhythmic performance with production and curation, encompassing live-band hip hop, collaborations across soul and jazz, and documentary and archival projects that link popular music practice with historical scholarship.
