William Russo
William Russo was an American composer and arranger from Brooklyn who began his career in the mid-20th century, working primarily in jazz and orchestral contexts. His work blended jazz and classical techniques, often linked to the third stream movement, and later expanded into large-scale compositions, educational initiatives and community-based ensembles that contributed to Chicago's musical life.
