Jimmy López

Jimmy López is a Peruvian-born composer of contemporary classical music who studied in Lima, Madrid and the United States and began his career composing chamber, orchestral and stage works. His music combines contemporary compositional techniques with influences from Peruvian folk traditions and theatre, evolving from early chamber pieces to larger-scale operatic and symphonic works that engage with cultural and narrative themes.
