alt‐J
alt-J (stylised ∆) are an English indie rock band formed in 2007 while students at the University of Leeds. Their music blends indie rock, art pop and electronic elements with intricate song structures and literary and cinematic references, and their name derives from the Mac keyboard shortcut for the Greek letter delta (∆).
