H.E.R.

H.E.R. is an American contemporary R&B and soul singer from Vallejo, California, who began performing as a child and re-emerged under the H.E.R. moniker in the mid-2010s. Her work blends contemporary R&B, soul and elements of hip hop and folk, emphasising restrained, emotive vocal delivery and instrumental musicianship, and she evolved from issuing low-profile, anonymous releases into a more visible solo presence whose songs often explore identity and relationships within contemporary music culture.
