Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith is a Scottish jazz saxophonist and composer, born in Edinburgh in 1967, who began his professional career in the 1980s and is associated with modern and contemporary jazz. His work blends post-bop, free jazz and contemporary classical influences across solo, chamber and large-ensemble compositions, and he has contributed to Scotland's jazz infrastructure through ensemble leadership and music education.
