The Breeders
The Breeders are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1989 as a side project by members of other alternative bands. Their music blends melodic pop hooks with jagged guitar textures and lo-fi production, evolving from raw, punk-inflected indie rock into more polished arrangements and quieter, introspective songwriting across subsequent albums, and they became part of the 1990s alternative rock landscape.
