Tobias Delius

Tobias Delius is a Dutch saxophonist and clarinettist who has been based in the UK and active since the 1990s, working principally in jazz and free improvisation. His playing blends elements of jazz tradition—melodic phrasing and harmonic awareness—with the spontaneous textures and extended techniques of free improvisation, and he has worked across a range of European improvising ensembles and contemporary jazz projects.
