Mark Isham

Mark Isham is an American trumpeter, synthesizer player and composer who began his career in the 1970s, working across jazz, electronic and ambient genres before expanding into film and television scoring. Blending lyrical trumpet lines with electronic textures and orchestral elements, his music evolved from jazz- and ambient-rooted recordings into a screen-music practice that bridged acoustic and electronic sound worlds and intersected with late 20th-century trends in film and television composition.
