Friedrich Gernsheim

Friedrich Gernsheim was a German composer, conductor and pianist born in Worms in 1839 who was active in the late Romantic era. He wrote symphonies, chamber music, choral works and songs in a late-Romantic idiom that combined classical forms with rich harmonic textures, and he worked as a conductor and teacher within the German musical scene.
