Zu are an Italian experimental band formed in Rome in 1997, known for combining elements of jazz, noise rock and avant-garde music. Their work blends free-jazz improvisation, heavy distortion and percussive intensity, evolving through numerous collaborations and soundtrack projects to explore a crossover between underground rock, improvisational jazz and contemporary experimental music within Italy's avant-garde scene.
