Państwowa Opera Śląska is a Polish state opera company based in Bytom in the Silesian region, established in 1945 to present opera, operetta and ballet. Its repertoire spans the standard operatic canon and contemporary Polish compositions, and the company regularly stages both traditional and modern productions that form part of the cultural life of Silesia.
