Mihály Mosonyi

Mosonyi Mihály was a Hungarian composer of the 19th century who began his career in Budapest and worked within the Romantic classical tradition. Drawing on Hungarian folk idioms and Romantic-era nationalism, his output includes piano pieces, art songs and orchestral works that sought to develop a national musical language.
