Luca Francesconi

Luca Francesconi is an Italian composer born in Milan in 1956 who began his career in the late 1970s and works primarily in contemporary classical and electroacoustic music. His output ranges from solo and chamber pieces to opera and orchestral works, evolving to incorporate live electronics, spectral and timbral approaches and interdisciplinary theatre elements that place him within late-20th and early-21st-century European contemporary music.
