Jaap ter Linden

Jaap ter Linden is a Dutch cellist and conductor specialising in early music, who began his career in the late 20th century and is associated with historically informed performance of Baroque repertoire. Working primarily on period instruments such as Baroque cello and viola da gamba, he has combined performance and teaching to promote historically informed approaches to continuo playing and chamber music within the early-music revival.
