Africa Express

Africa Express is a UK-based musical collective formed in the mid-2000s to encourage collaboration between African and Western musicians, working across genres such as West African traditional music, Afrobeat, electronic and rock. Organised as a rotating project and live touring ensemble, it has developed through collaborative recordings, festival residencies and tours that emphasise cross-cultural exchange and support for African artists, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary production and improvisation.
