The Replacements

The Replacements are an American rock band formed in Minneapolis in 1979 that blended punk rock, alternative rock and power pop and released several albums through the 1980s and early 1990s. Their songs frequently address themes of alienation, small-town life and self-doubt, and the band were active primarily from 1979–1991 with reunions in the 2010s.
