Annerose Schmidt

Annerose Schmidt was a German classical pianist, born in Dresden in 1936, who began her career in the mid-20th century following studies at German conservatoires. Her repertoire concentrated on Romantic and early twentieth-century works, and she participated in the musical life of East Germany through performances and recordings that reached audiences beyond the GDR.
