above the clouds, before the moon

behind the mountain, beneath the tree

toward the water, away from land

by the bridge, before dawn

in meadows, beside streams

spinning wheels, broken spokes

places i have yet to see

picking up the pieces

mountain shadow

a way through the fog

past the wisteria trees

in the clouds

where ocean meets sky

suspended in a sunbeam
