Reggie Workman

Reggie Workman is an American jazz double bassist from Philadelphia who began his professional career in the late 1950s and was active on the post-bop and avant-garde jazz scenes. His playing and compositions bridge post-bop, free jazz and modal approaches, and his work contributed to developments in ensemble improvisation and extended techniques on the bass.
