Eddie Chamblee

Eddie Chamblee was an American tenor saxophonist and occasional vocalist who began his career in the 1940s within the jazz and rhythm and blues scenes. His playing blended blues-inflected tenor phrasing with R&B rhythmic drive, and he recorded and toured with both big bands and small ensembles during the postwar jazz and R&B crossover era.
