Tony Levin

Tony Levin is an American bassist and Chapman Stick player from Boston who began his professional career in the late 1960s and is primarily associated with progressive rock, jazz fusion and session work. His playing is characterised by melodic, rhythmic low‑end lines, extensive use of extended‑range instruments and effects, and adaptability across rock, pop and experimental projects over a multi‑decade career.
