Jimmy McPartland's All-Stars
Jimmy McPartland's All-Stars were an American jazz ensemble formed by cornetist Jimmy McPartland in Chicago during his mid-20th-century career, rooted in the Chicago and Dixieland jazz traditions. Their repertoire and performance style drew on traditional New Orleans and Chicago jazz, emphasising ensemble improvisation and material from the early jazz canon while participating in the mid-century revival of traditional jazz styles.
