Risto Joost

Risto Joost is an Estonian conductor and countertenor who began his career in Estonia, trained in choral and orchestral conducting and early-music vocal performance, and has worked with ensembles across Europe in baroque, classical and contemporary music. His musical approach bridges historically informed performance and contemporary repertoire, encompassing opera, orchestral and choral works and contributing to Estonia's presence in the European classical scene.
