Furio Di Castri

Furio Di Castri is an Italian jazz double bassist and educator who began his career in the late 20th century and has been active within Italy's contemporary jazz scene. His work combines modern jazz improvisation with elements of European classical chamber music across small-group and larger-ensemble settings, and he has been involved extensively in teaching and the development of the Italian jazz community.
