Delroy Wilson
Delroy Wilson was a Jamaican singer from Kingston who began his career as a child in the late 1950s and became associated with ska, rocksteady and reggae. His singing style transitioned from youthful ska performances to a more soulful rocksteady approach and later roots-oriented reggae, and his recordings through the 1960s and 1970s contributed to the development of vocal traditions within Jamaica's popular music.
