Roy Budd

Roy Budd was an English jazz pianist and composer from Streatham in South London who began performing as a child prodigy in the 1960s and built a career in jazz performance and film composition. His work blended small-group jazz improvisation with orchestral and cinematic arrangements, evolving from club and session work into scored compositions for film and television that combined jazz phrasing with arranged thematic material.
