Ludwig Weber was an Austrian operatic bass who began his professional career in the 1920s, originating from Vienna and specialising in German-language opera, particularly the works of Wagner and Strauss. His repertoire and vocal approach emphasised the weight and depth required for large-scale late-Romantic roles, and his career included regular appearances at major European opera houses and festivals, contributing to twentieth-century performance traditions of German repertory.
