Pavel Šivic

Pavel Šivic was a Slovenian composer and pianist born in Ljubljana in 1908 who began his career in the interwar period and worked primarily in the classical tradition. His output includes opera, orchestral, chamber and piano works that combine lyrical melody with twentieth-century harmonic language and elements of Slovenian musical folk tradition.
