Pierre Henry
Pierre Henry was a French composer born in Paris in 1927 who began his career in the late 1940s and is known as a pioneer of musique concrète and electronic music. He used recorded sounds, tape manipulation and electronic processes to create compositions that moved from early experimental radio pieces to large-scale theatre works and collaborative projects with dance and visual media.
