Wolter Wierbos
Wolter Wierbos is a Dutch trombonist who began his career in the late 1970s and is associated with jazz, free improvisation and avant-garde music. His playing emphasises extended techniques and a wide timbral palette, and his work has spanned traditional jazz contexts, free-improvised ensembles and experimental projects within the Dutch and wider European avant-garde scenes.
