eighth blackbird
eighth blackbird are an American contemporary classical chamber ensemble formed at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 1996 and later based in Chicago. Their work emphasises new-music repertoire and collaborative projects, commissioning and performing works by living composers while incorporating theatrical and multimedia elements to expand the possibilities of contemporary chamber music.
