AMM

AMM are an English experimental music ensemble formed in London in 1965, associated with free improvisation and electroacoustic practice. Their work emphasises extended techniques, texture and timbre over conventional melody and rhythm, evolving through long-form improvisation and exploratory uses of electronics within Britain's post-war avant-garde and experimental scenes.
