Ben Riley
Ben Riley was an American jazz drummer from Savannah, Georgia, who began his professional career in the 1950s and worked mainly within hard bop and post-bop idioms. His understated, time-centred approach emphasised supportive ensemble interplay and developed through small-group and larger-ensemble work, contributing to rhythmic practices in modern jazz.
