Antoine Boësset
Antoine Boësset (1587–1643) was a French composer active at the royal court from the early 17th century, known for his airs de cour and other courtly vocal music. His music favoured clear homophonic textures and lyrical vocal lines with occasional influence from Italian monodic practices, contributing to the development of French secular song and the musical life of the royal court.
