Antonín Vranický

Antonín Vranický was a Czech violinist and composer active in Vienna from the late 18th century, working in the Classical tradition and producing orchestral and chamber works. His output included symphonies, string quartets and violin concertos that reflect the conventions of the Viennese Classical style while he combined performing, composing and teaching, helping to sustain the Bohemian presence in Vienna's musical life into the early 19th century.
