Narciso Yepes

Narciso Yepes was a Spanish classical guitarist, born in Lorca, Murcia, in 1927, who began his professional career in the mid-20th century performing a broad classical repertoire. He championed transcriptions of Renaissance and Baroque works alongside contemporary compositions and is associated with the use of a modified ten-string guitar that extended the instrument's range.
