Janet Feder is an American experimental guitarist and composer based in Denver, Colorado, who began releasing recordings and performing publicly in the early 2000s within experimental, contemporary classical and electroacoustic music scenes. Her work employs prepared-guitar techniques, extended playing methods, looping and live electronic processing, moving fluidly between composed and improvised forms and frequently intersecting with interdisciplinary and collaborative projects in the experimental arts.
